General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)

1. Seller Identification

The website “piveteauebooks” is operated by its publisher (hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”). For any questions, you may contact customer service at the email address provided on the website.

2. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the sale of digital products (ebooks) on the piveteauebooks website. Any order implies the customer’s unconditional acceptance of these GTCS.

3. Products

The products offered are downloadable digital books (ebooks). The essential characteristics of each product are described on the corresponding page. The products are provided exclusively in digital format. No physical delivery will be made.

4. Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€), including all taxes (TTC), unless otherwise stated. The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. The applicable price is the one in effect at the time of the order.

5. Order

The customer places orders online via the website. The order is considered final after payment confirmation. The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a previous dispute or suspicion of fraud.

6. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Payments are made by credit card or any other method offered on the website via the secure Stripe platform.

Payment data is processed securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards. The Seller never has access to the customer’s full banking information.

7. Delivery

Ebooks are delivered exclusively by electronic means. After payment validation, the customer receives a download link or immediate access to the purchased product. The Seller cannot be held responsible for errors in the email address provided by the customer.

8. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content supplied on a non-physical medium when performance has begun after the consumer’s prior express consent and explicit waiver of their right of withdrawal.

By confirming the order and accessing the download immediately, the customer expressly acknowledges waiving their right of withdrawal.

9. Guarantees

Digital products benefit from the legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects as provided by law. In the event of a defective or unusable file, the customer may contact customer service to obtain a new download link.

10. Complaints

Any complaint must be sent by email to customer service with the following information: name, order number, and description of the issue. The Seller undertakes to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Liability

The Seller cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to the use of the products. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their computer equipment is compatible with the provided formats.

12. Personal Data

The personal data collected is necessary for processing orders and payments. It is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

13. Applicable Law

These GTCS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of the Seller’s place of residence, unless otherwise required by law.
